As we evaluate what is unique about Our Lady of the Mountains that sets us apart from other schools, our family-like atmosphere is one of our predominant attributes. The involvement of all families in the various fundraising activities helps foster this sense of community. Some of the fundraisers that occur year to year are the fall festival turtle trots, a magazine drive, a citrus fruit sale for the holidays, and a spring golf tournament. A silent auction entitled “An Evening to Remember” was also held this past spring. All proceeds from these events benefit the OLM Scholarship Fund, which augments tuition for financially disadvantaged students. Successful fundraising activities have allowed OLM to remain true to its mission – providing a quality education in a Christian environment to all students, regardless of ability to meet tuition requirements. We are grateful for the generosity and support that the school receives from both local and out-of-town establishments throughout the school year. OLM depends on the financial support of these businesses, and the dedication of our many hardworking volunteers, to ensure our continued success. Pictured above are students participating in our first annual Spring Walk-a-thon fundraiser, which raised over $2,000 for new playground equipment.
